WKA 2008 Schedule is as follows:

WKA: As before, no rain dates. Best 5 of 6 for season points. Gates open 7:00, Registration 8:00 to 10:00, Practice 10:00 to 12:00, Drivers Meeting 12:15, Qualifying, features, 12:30.       Times for Race #4 & 5:  Gates open 10:00, Registration 11:00 to 1:00, Practice 1:00 to 3:00, Drivers Meeting 3:15, Qualifying, features 3:30

 Briggs Animal Junior-.280Gold WKA Res., 320wt., open tires, WKA Rules, Methanol, Age 12-15

 Senior Animal Medium- WKA  rules, open tires, Briggs engine, Methanol, 350wt, Age 15&up

Senior Animal Heavy-WKA rules, open tires, Briggs engine, Methanol, 375wt,  Age 15&up

STAR CHAMPS & 2 cycles-50% payback, 5 karts to qualify

NEW BOX STOCK CLASS

WKA 701 Box Stock Class - WKA 701 engine, 5HP Briggs & Stratton .425 Restrictor plate ,Purple, WKA 701 Rule, pump gas only. Note: 1 inch inside diameter (+/-.050) non-stop exhaust pipe w/stock type muffler, part # RLV-B91,12" straight pipe, minimum 15- tooth clutch, 54 tooth sprocket with 35 chain. Engine must have straight flywheel key.  Weight - Kart and driver - 225 lbs.   Age 6-8yrs old.

JUNIOR 1 ROOKIE

WKA .425 restrictor plate.  For 8 to 10 year olds new to the sport

JUNIOR I

For reasonably experienced drivers. No changes from last year in this class 8 to 11 yrs old.

JUNIOR 11 RESTRICTED

Junior 11 Restricted will be 10 to 15 yrs old. You must have previous experience in other classes. A  red  restrictor will be used. Weight will be 285lbs.

Junior 11 Restricted will also be running a gold restrictor, weight 300lbs, age 12-15.

NEW JUNIOR 11 PRO

Junior 11 Pro will be 12 to 15 year olds.  Must have previous experience in other classes. Weight will be 320 lbs.  There will be no restrictor plate.

Money Races - There will be points for these races.

 ^{THROW AWAY RACES – These races will be your worst two races during the racing year, or no shows.}

^{Must  race at  least  half of the scheduled races in your class in order to receive championship trophies.}

^{This Year (2008). all trophies will given out  after the feature races.  Plaques given out to Junior members only. Plaque plate will be given out the following week.}
