Track has been enlarged, wider turns, wider and longer front and back stretches, higher banking.  It's going to be a great season.

Box Stock changes:  Box Stock WKA 701 class. Check Newsletter for specifics.

Directions to Turkey Trot Raceway: 

Take exit 17N on the Northway (I-87).  If you are coming from the North, take a right off the exit onto Route 9.  If you are coming from the South, take a left of the exit onto Route 9.

Proceed on Route 9 North until you come to a red light. Take a right onto 197 east. Follow until you come to Stewart’s in Fort Edward; take a left (4 North). Take right at first red light (East Street).

Follow until you come to 4 corners. Right across the road from the stop sign you will see a sign Turkey Trot Raceway, go straight across for about a mile and a half and you will see another sign Turkey Trot Raceway. Take this right and this will take you right up to the sign booth.

 

If you are coming from VERMONT, Route 196 or 197 will bring you to St. James Rd. (Route 42), which runs into Mahaffy Rd. 

 

If you are coming from the WEST, Follow Dix Ave. until you come to the 4 corners (Cumberland Farms, Willis Auto).  Take a Left, and go over 2 bridges.

Take your first right, you’ll see a Raceway sign on your left.  Turn Left onto Mahaffy Rd.  Proceed straight, you’ll see a Raceway sign on your right, Take that right and follow driveway to sign in.

MONEY RACE –

IF A RACER IS 15 YEARS OF AGE , HE OR SHE IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE MONEY RACES AND SENIOR CLASSES. THEY MUST SHOW A COPY OF THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATES, AND SIGN A WAIVER FORM. THIS IS A NEW YEAR. BIRTH CERTIFICATES MUST BE SHOWN AGAIN. (FOR REGULAR POINT RACES ONLY, STOCK HEAVY KARTS CANNOT WEIGH MORE THAN 200LBS WITHOUT THE DRIVER.) THIS RULE DOES NOT APPLY TO MONEY RACES. ANY KIND OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY WILL RESULT IN A $100 FINE OR SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY.
